HEC-RAS (Hydrologic Engineering Center’s River Analysis System) is the gold standard for one-dimensional and two-dimensional hydraulic modeling. Developed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), it allows engineers and hydrologists to perform river hydraulics, floodplain mapping, and sediment transport analysis.
